JUNG is a software library that provides a common and extensible language for the modeling, analysis, and visualization of data that can be represented as a graph or network. Its basis in Java allows JUNG-based applications to make use of the extensive built-in capabilities of the Java API, as well as those of other existing third-party Java libraries.

Provides a Java wrapper around the Microsoft Translator API aka Bing Translator. Created in an attempt to fill the void left by the deprecation of the Google Translate API announced on May 26, 2011 and scheduled for permanent shutdown on December 1, 2011.
 
In an effort to lessen the impact on Java developers that have previously integrated the Google Translate API into their applications, it is my goal to mimic the code structure, naming conventions, functionality, and usage patterns of the excellent and widely used google-api-translate-java by Rich Midwinter.

jcabi-jdbc is a lightweight wrapper of JDBC. It is very convenient to use when you don't need a full-scale ORM (like Hibernate), but want just to select, insert, or update a few rows in a relational database.

A small library that provide a disk backed map implementation for storing large number of key value pairs. The map implementations (HashMap, HashTable) max out around 3-4Million keys/GB of memory for very simple key/value pairs and in most cases the limit is much lower. DiskBacked map on the other hand can store betweeen 16Million (64bit JVM) to 20Million(32bit JVM) keys/GB, regardless the size of the key/value pairs.

junixsocket is a Java/JNI library that allows the use of Unix Domain Sockets (AF_UNIX sockets) from Java. In contrast to other implementations, junixsocket extends the Java Sockets API (java.net.Socket, java.net.SocketAddress, etc.). It supports RMI over AF_UNIX. It can connect to local MySQL server via Unix domain sockets (provides a AFUNIXDatabaseSocketFactory for Connector/J).

Xenon is a framework for writing small REST-based services. (Some people call them microservices.) The runtime is implemented in Java and acts as the host for the lightweight, asynchronous services. The programming model is language agnostic (does not rely on Java specific constructs) so implementations in other languages are encouraged. The services can run on a set of distributed nodes. Xenon provides replication, synchronization, ordering, and consistency for the state of the services. Because of the distributed nature of Xenon, the services scale well and are highly available.
 
Xenon is a "batteries included" framework. Unlike some frameworks that provide just consistent data replication or just a microservice framework, Xenon provides both. Xenon services have REST-based APIs and are backed by a consistent, replicated document store.

Flummi is a client library for Elastic Search. It has been successfully tested with Elastic Search versions 2.3, 2.4 and 5.1. It provides a comprehensive Java query DSL API and communicates with the Elastic Search Cluster via HTTP/JSON. Flummi uses HTTP and JSON for communication with Elastic Search. A simple library for parsing CSV in Java, based on the OpenCSV library. After trying unsuccessfully to fix some of the key bugs in OpenCSV, I concluded that the core of the library -- the CSVParser -- was too complicated a patchwork to salvage. I decided to rewrite it. That effort led to forking the project entirely, with the primary intent of simplifying the parser code, but keeping it fast and generally in the spirit of the OpenCSV library.
