jq is a lightweight and flexible command-line JSON processor. jq is like sed for JSON data - you can use it to slice and filter and map and transform structured data with the same ease that sed, awk, grep and friends let you play with text.

skopeo is a command line utility that performs various operations on container images and image repositories. skopeo can work with OCI images as well as the original Docker v2 images. Skopeo works with API V2 container image registries such as docker.io and quay.io registries, private registries, local directories and local OCI-layout directories. 
 
skopeo can perform operations which consist of:

<li>Copying an image from and to various storage mechanisms.
For example you can copy images from one registry to another, without requiring privilege.</li>
<li>Inspecting a remote image showing its properties including its layers, without requiring you to pull the image to the host.</li>

It is best suited for power users who are familiar with command line programs. It is also ideal for batch scripts and automated backup to S3, triggered from cron, etc.

Gengetopt is a tool to generate C code to parse the command line arguments argc and argv that are part of every C or C++ program. The generated code uses the C library function getopt_long to perform the actual command line parsing.

Fetchmail is a full-featured, robust, well-documented remote-mail retrieval and forwarding utility intended to be used over on-demand TCP/IP links (such as SLIP or PPP connections). It supports every remote-mail protocol now in use on the Internet: POP2, POP3, RPOP, APOP, KPOP, all flavors of IMAP, ETRN, and ODMR. It can even support IPv6 and IPSEC. 
 
Fetchmail retrieves mail from remote mail servers and forwards it via SMTP, so it can then be read by normal mail user agents such as mutt, elm(1) or BSD Mail. It allows all your system MTA's filtering, forwarding, and aliasing facilities to work just as they would on normal mail. Fetchmail can be used as a POP/IMAP-to-SMTP gateway for an entire DNS domain, collecting mail from a single drop box on an ISP and SMTP-forwarding it based on header addresses. doggo is a modern command-line DNS client (like dig) written in Golang. It outputs information in a neat concise manner and supports protocols like DoH (DNS over HTTPS), DoT (DNS over TLS) and DNSCrypt as well. It supports multiple resolvers at once, Reverse DNS Lookups, Shell completions for zsh and fish.

he gflags package contains a library that implements command line flags processing. As such it's a replacement for getopt(). It has increased flexibility, including built-in support for C++ types like string, and the ability to define flags in the source file in which they're used. This repository contains a C++ of the Google commandline flags module.
