DPDK is a set of libraries and drivers for fast packet processing. It was designed to run on any processors. The first supported CPU was Intel x86 and it is now extended to IBM Power 8, EZchip TILE-Gx and ARM. These libraries can be used to  receive and send packets within the minimum number of CPU cycles (usually less than 80 cycles), develop fast packet capture algorithms (tcpdump-like) and run third-party fast path stacks.

UnQLite is a in-process software library which implements a self-contained, serverless, zero-configuration, transactional NoSQL database engine. UnQLite is a document store database similar to MongoDB, Redis, CouchDB etc. as well a standard Key/Value store similar to BerkeleyDB, LevelDB, etc.
 
UnQLite is an embedded NoSQL (Key/Value store and Document-store) database engine. Unlike most other NoSQL databases, UnQLite does not have a separate server process. UnQLite reads and writes directly to ordinary disk files. A complete database with multiple collections, is contained in a single disk file. The database file format is cross-platform, you can freely copy a database between 32-bit and 64-bit systems or between big-endian and little-endian architectures.

mTCP is a high-performance user-level TCP stack for multicore systems. Scaling the performance of short TCP connections is fundamentally challenging due to inefficiencies in the kernel. mTCP addresses these inefficiencies from the ground up - from packet I/O and TCP connection management all the way to the application interface. It translates expensive system calls to shared memory access between two threads within the same CPU core.

SSLsplit is a tool for man-in-the-middle attacks against SSL/TLS encrypted network connections. It is intended to be useful for network forensics, application security analysis and penetration testing. SSLsplit is designed to transparently terminate connections that are redirected to it using a network address translation engine. SSLsplit then terminates SSL/TLS and initiates a new SSL/TLS connection to the original destination address, while logging all data transmitted. Besides NAT based operation, SSLsplit also supports static destinations and using the server name indicated by SNI as upstream destination. SSLsplit is purely a transparent proxy and cannot act as a HTTP or SOCKS proxy configured in a browser.
 
SSLsplit supports plain TCP, plain SSL, HTTP and HTTPS connections over both IPv4 and IPv6. It also has the ability to dynamically upgrade plain TCP to SSL in order to generically support SMTP STARTTLS and similar upgrade mechanisms. SSLsplit fully supports Server Name Indication (SNI) and is able to work with RSA, DSA and ECDSA keys and DHE and ECDHE cipher suites. Depending on the version of OpenSSL built against, SSLsplit supports SSL 3.0, TLS 1.0, TLS 1.1 and TLS 1.2, and optionally SSL 2.0 as well.

tmate is a instant terminal sharing built on top of tmux. All users see the same terminal content at all time. This is useful for pair programming where two people share the same screen, but have different keyboards. Accessing a terminal session is transparent to clients as they go through the tmate.io servers, acting as a proxy. No authentication setup is required, like setting up ssh keys.

The MemcheckView GUI uses the Tool Gear viewer to display and organize Memcheck's output in a way that makes it much easier to examine the most-critical Memcheck warnings first. MemcheckView also displays the relevant source code for each warning and the source code can be viewed for the entire call chain, if desired. The MemcheckView package includes scripts (memcheck_all, memcheck) that provide an easy way to run Memcheck on parallel (MPI) and serial applications. Because Memcheck generates its output file on the fly while the application is running, the MemcheckView tool can monitor this output file and update the display continually. MemcheckView can also read a completed output file after the monitored application has exited.

It aims to be as compatible as possible with other CVS implementations, except when particular features reduce the overall security of the system. The OpenCVS project was started after discussions regarding the latest GNU CVS vulnerabilities that came out.
