Rainbow CMS available today in 29 languages, allows content authoring to be safely delegated to role-based team members who need little or no knowledge of HTML. Rainbow optionally supports a two-step approval-publish process. 75 plug-in modules are now included in the standard release, including support for an e-store, XML news feeds, Flash, Maps, Newsletter, Surveys, Forums, Document Management, Custom Lists, and more. It's also fairly easy to build your own custom modules.

Rainbow CMS could host multiple sites and could use single database. The sites are made from pages, Pages are arranged hierarchical to unlimited depth. Menus are used to navigate across pages. Each page is made from modules. Any content whether it is text, images, news item will be generated out of modules. Developer could easily extend and achieve their needs.

Its feature set includes flexible Users and Roles management, Full text Search, WYSIWYG editor, RSS and lot more. It has in built modules like breadcrumb support, Blog, Event log, Discussion forum, FAQ, Newsletter, Gallery, Survey etc.
