Weekly Product Updates #23-07: Laravel Herd, Consul, Prometheus, Electron, Strapi and FastApi

Below are product updates happened last week.

Herd is a blazing fast, native Laravel and PHP development environment for macOS. Herd released version 1.1.1

Consul uses service identities and traditional networking practices to help organizations securely discover and connect services across any runtime or platform. Consul 1.16 adds a number of new security features. It now supports FIPS 140-2 compliant builds, JWT auth for service-to-service traffic, Enhanced transparent proxy for failover and virtual services, Permissive mTLS and lot more.

Prometheus provides Time series database and monitoring solution released version 2.46.0. This release has few bug fixes and minor enhancement in Promtool, TSDB.

Electron helps to build cross platform desktop apps with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS released version 25.3.2

Microsoft VSCode released version 1.80 with improvements in Accessibility, Workbench, Added new command in Troubleshoot to troubleshoot issues and lot more.

Strapi is the leading open-source headless CMS, released version 4.12.0 with few bug fixes and minor enhancement.

FastAPI is a modern, fast (high-performance), web framework for building APIs with Python released version 0.100.1
